Once Upon A Thought

Once upon a thought there was a tree. The tree was as tall as the mountains and was always releasing the freshest leaves onto the low, rugged ground. The tree only exists in this paragraph, but nevertheless, as long as this is being read, the tree is thriving. When this paragraph is ignored (or not being read), the tree ceases to exist, lost within the earth where it was once planted. However, a mere thought of this paragraph, even without reading it directly, brings the tree back - once again allowing shade and faith to lavish the fields.

What is a paragraph without sentences? What are sentences without words? What are words without letters? What are letters without purpose?

Words are passed by our reading sight, sometimes never remembered again; forgotten as soon as our sights are off the words. Words are more than that. They're more than just letters placed side by side to form legible text. They hold emotion, faith, speech and trust.

Written Puzzle - The Mansion Mystery ANSWERS

[> It wasn't Max. He stressed several times of being afraid of the rain. He didn't want anything more to do with the mansion; let alone go out in the rain and try to burn it down.

[> It wasn't Xian. He's a misguided smoking teenager that can't even finish his homework / make sure his laptop is charged. He just didn't possess the intelligences (or motivation) to pull it off.

[> It wasn't Vanessa. Though she had great motive, her negatives for the photo shoot she took were somewhere on the mansion's porch. She wouldn't put those at risk.

[> It wasn't Jason. Sadly, his response to ANY situation he can't handle is simply to drink.

[> It wasn't Travis. He was trying to buy the mansion, he wouldn't burn it down. Burning the mansion would have still resulted in him failing to obtain it, which was what he was trying to avoid.

[> !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yup...it was Misty!! She burned the mansion down. Lets go back and look at the clues.

1] The only way Misty could get out of the contract with working for Travis was for Travis to lose his streak of acquiring buildings for hotels. This is MOTIVE (par 5)

2] Max gave Misty Xian's cigarettes and lighter, And she never returned them. The lighter was what she used to start the fire. This is METHOD (par 11)

3] Misty had to stay up all night to finish the paperwork for appealing the motion on the mansion. This gives her the TIME. With this, she had motive, time, and a method to burn it down. (par 12)

unlocked

I'm writing this so I can look back and read this, and understand what I've overcome. I've done many things in my life. Lots of things I've come to like, like drawing, writing and video games. These three things helped define who I and and paved a path for me to walk. Things I've done that I'm not proud of I'll never regret, I did (and will) learn from them, however. I'm proud of my mistakes, because they further defined who I am. If something doesn't feel right in my heart, I know it must not be right. A quote I once said to a workshop I facilitated for was "Its one thing to make a mistake because of lack of knowledge, but it's another story knowing full well what you're doing". But often times its easier said than done. When you're used to doing a cirernt thing, rather its right or wrong, it could be hard to stop. Even if on your first day of trying to make a change and you don't succeed, DON'T GIVE UP. This is where the overused statement 'one step at a time' comes in. I've locked my self in these shackles, and the worse part is I have the key.
